The University Grants Commission has extended the registration date for the Chandrayaan 3 Maha Quiz. Interested candidates can register on the official website until October 31, 2023.
The Chandrayaan-3 Maha Quiz allows participants to test their knowledge of the mission and space science in general to the test. The quiz is designed to engage and educate people about the country's space exploration initiatives. It will also motivate students to learn more about space programs.
MyGov is hosting the Chandrayaan 3 Maha Quiz in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The quiz contains of multiple-choice questions regarding space science, the Chandrayaan-3 mission, and general space exploration knowledge. Each question offers four answers, and students must choose the proper one. A participant will be given 10 questions to get answered in 300 seconds.
The winner of the quiz competition will get a cash prize of 1,00,000. The second-best performer will receive 75,000, while the third will receive 50,000. The next hundred best performers will receive consolation awards of 2,000, while the next 200 best performers will receive consolation prizes of 1,000.
While speaking to ISRO scientists on August 26, 2023, the prime minister invited schoolchildren to participate in the Chandrayaan-3 quiz, which was set to begin on September 1. The quiz will assist students in learning more about the country's moon expedition.
The University Grants Commission has directed that information about the prolongation of the quiz date be made available to students via the platform quiz URL. The institutions are also asked to compile a list of students who took part in the Maha Quiz and post it on the UGC UAMP Portal. The institutions are also asked to organize a massive participation event on October 20, 2023, to guarantee that all students take part in the Chandrayaan- 3 Maha Quiz.
