Dussehra, also known as Dasara or Vijayadashami, is a significant festival in Telangana. The Telangana State Education Department has declared a total of 13 days off for schools and institutions. During this time, both public and private schools in the state will be closed. These Dussehra celebrations will take place from October 13 to October 25, 2023.
According to the official announcement, Telangana's intermediate colleges would be closed from October 19 to 25, 2023. On October 26, 2023, both high schools and junior colleges will start classes. Students and parents are encouraged to stay informed and in touch with their particular school authorities for the most recent information.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has mandated that all junior colleges must adhere to the prescribed vacation schedule, ensuring that no classes are held during this time.
