Description
The Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS) 2023 is being offered by the KC Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET). The scholarship is awarded to 550 students each year and is worth Rupees 10,000 per year for a maximum of three years.
Students applying for the scholarship must have passed the SSC, HSC, or equivalent exams with more than 60% marks, according to a statement issued by KCMET. They must have been accepted into a government or other recognized polytechnic institute for a diploma course. The scholarship is only available to students who are in their first year of study.
MAITS encourages and supports students from low-income families who want to pursue a job-oriented diploma programme at one of India's government polytechnic colleges.
Interested and qualified candidates may go to kcmet.org and apply at maitsscholarship.kcmet.org. They must first register on the portal using their registered email address.
The application date for Delhi and NCR students is October 8. Shortlisted students will be notified in advance of the interview date and location. According to the group, the KC Mahindra Education Trust has been providing scholarships since 1995 and has given scholarships to 11,840 students to date. Girls, children from low-income families, the differently abled, and children of military people are given special consideration.
