Description

The deadline to apply for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XVIII has been extended by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Candidates can register for the exam on the official website through October 9, 2023. The deadline for payment, however, has been extended to October 10. Previously, the registration deadline was set for September 30, 2023. 

The official notification reads, “Dear Candidate (s), It is hereby notified that online registration for AIBE- XVIII has been extended till 9th Oct 2023 and the last date for payment of online registration for AIBE-XVIII extended till 10th Oct 2023.”

Steps To Register For AIBE XVIII Exam 2023 Online

• First go to the official website.

• Now click on the registration link available on the top corner of the website.

• Register yourself using the login details. 

• Login using the newly created credentials.

• Upload all the valid documents as asked in the given format.

• Submit the AIBE XVIII registration fee.

• Go through the application and download it for future reference.

To pass the AIBE exam, open and OBC category candidates must score 45%, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates must score 40%. The pass rate for general category candidates has been enhanced from 40% to 45%, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates must score 40% to pass the exam. Previously, the qualifying percentage for reserved categories was set at 35%.
