Description
India won 14 medals at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. This includes three gold, four silver, and seven bronze medals. India's first gold medal came in the men's 10m air rifle team event, where the trio of Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil, Divyansh Singh Panwar, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar set a new World Record score of 1893.7.
India's performance at the 2023 Asian Games surpassed its previous peak of 70 medals at the 2018 Games. It was also India's first gold medal in the Asian Games in cricket.
