The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has set the fees for J-K Board class 10th and 12th board exams in open institutions. The fee for issuing a migration certificate, a duplicate marks certificate or a qualification certificate, and a photocopy of an answer script will be the same as last year.
However, the registration and exam fees for students in class 10th and 11th seeking admission to Jammu and Kashmir State Open School (JKSOS) have been revised. The JKBOSE annual and biannual exams for Class 10 and Class 11 for the academic year 2023 have likewise been rescheduled.
The JKBOSE Class 10 private annual exam and Class 11 biannual exams in Jammu and Kashmir were taken in accordance with the J-K Service Selection Board's (JKSSB) recommendation.

JKBOSE Class 9 And 10 Maths, Science, Social Science Syllabi Rationalised
For the academic year 2023-24, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has rationalized the Class 9 and 10 syllabi and assessment scheme of Mathematics, Science, and Social Science subjects. The JKBOSE syllabus has been rationalized in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP).
General English, Urdu or Hindi, mathematics, social science (history, political science, geography, economics, disaster management, and road safety education) and science (physics, chemistry, biology) are the compulsory topics for the Class 10 board exam 2024, according to the study schedule.
