Description
The Rajasthan School Education Department will open applications for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) on September 16, 2023. Eligible candidates should apply online on the official website. They should keep in mind that the scholarship application deadline is September 30, 2023.
The scholarship test consists of two parts: a mental aptitude test and a scholastic aptitude test, both of which adhere to NCERT standards. Candidates must complete each test within 90 minutes. Candidates with exceptional needs, on the other hand, are granted extra time to complete the exams.
Eligibility For Rajasthan NMMS 2023 Scholarship
Candidates must be regular students in class 8 who have received a clear promotion from class 7 with a grade point average of at least 55% or equivalent.
They attend government/local body/government-aided schools for their education.
The candidate must score at least 60% on the class 10 board exam in order to continue receiving scholarships in higher secondary.
To continue receiving the scholarship in class 12, the scholarship recipient must receive a clear promotion from class 11 in the first attempt with a score of 55% or higher.
The annual family income of candidates should not exceed INR 3.5 lakh.
This NMMS scholarship is not available to candidates enrolled in NVS, KVS, Sainik school, or private schools.
