N Valarmathi, an Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientist who gave her voice to rocket launch countdowns in Sriharikota, died of a heart attack. She was last heard during the countdown to the launch of Chandrayaan-3, which landed on the Moon for the first time. On July 14, Chandrayaan-3 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. Her final countdown announcement was Chandrayan 3.
