Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched 'Bapu Pariksha Parisar' (Bapu Examination Complex), one of the country's largest examination centers, in Kumhrar in Patna city, which cost 261 crores to build. More than 16 thousand candidates can appear in offline and online exams in this examination center.
In this examination hall, where 13048 students can participate in the offline exam, 3584 students will be able to appear for the online exam at the same time. At the moment, the exam complex consists of two five-story blocks. A third is anticipated to be built soon, increasing the total seating capacity to 20,000.
Bapu Examination Complex: Facilitating Board And Competitive Exams
Other competitive examinations, in addition to the BSEB Matric and Inter, will be held in this Patna exam center. A and B towers have already been constructed. There are also plans to construct a third tower, known as Block C. The lights at Bapu Examination Complex can be turned on and off using a sensor. For example, if someone walks into the exam hall, the light will immediately switch on. When the person exits the room, the light turns off. This facility has been offered to avoid electricity waste.
Exam Center Equipped With Essential Amenities And Escalators
The 5-story testing center has escalators for easy access. Solar panels are also installed on the building to harness solar energy. Additionally, efforts have been taken to ensure that students appearing in the exam have access to drinking water and other necessities. In addition, the Chief Minister announced plans to build examination halls in 29 districts in the near future.
Unified Platform For Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB)
In addition to these measures, plans are in the works to create a uniform platform for all Bihar School Examination Board services. For schools offering intermediate and matriculation levels of education, an online affiliation and inspection system based on Geographic Information System (GIS) will be introduced. In addition, an artificial intelligence-driven form filling and data sanitization procedure would be included into all BSEB examinations. A thorough tracking system will also aid in improved exam monitoring.

Dr. Chandrashekhar, Ashok Chaudhary, Bihar Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani, Additional Chief Secretary K Siddharth, Anand Kishore, Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Committee, Divisional Commissioner Kumar Ravi, and many other officials from various departments were present on this occasion. The Chief Minister also planted seedlings on the premises before to the opening of Bapu Pariksha Parisar.
