Description
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 will be held at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore (IISc Bengaluru) for 30 papers. The Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) paper has also been added to the PG engineering entrance exam this year. Candidates applying for GATE may also select two papers from a list of allowed combinations.
According to an IBEF (India Band Equity Foundation) research, the AI market in India is estimated to reach $7.8 billion by 2025. AI will expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.2%, according to the State of the Education Report (SOER) 2022. AI in education systems will contribute significantly to achieving India's sustainable development goals by 2030, as well as assisting in addressing challenges connected to equality, equity, and inclusion in education.
The GATE application form will be available on August 24 on the official website. GATE 2024 will be held this year on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The exams will be administered in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
