Description
England all-rounder Moeen Ali has confirmed his retirement from test cricket following the conclusion of the Ashes series, although he will continue to play in other forms. He took part in the Ashes series at the request of England Test captain BenStokes. He, however, retired from test cricket in September 2021.
He appeared in 68 test matches for England, taking 204 wickets and scoring 3094 runs. In June 2023, he was given the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to cricket.
Australia Retains The Ashes 2023
Australia's cricket team retained the 'Ashes 2023' five-match test series after a 2-2 tie with England. It was held in the United Kingdom from the 16th to the 31st of July. This is Australia's fourth consecutive series victory. Australia has won 34 Ashes series, while England has won 33. Five series have been tied.
