India is going to launch TechEquity, a transformative digital platform focused at empowering women worldwide, in a huge step toward gender equality and digital inclusion. TechEquity, which will be officially unveiled on the first day of the two-day G20 EMPOWER event in Gandhinagar, promises to affect two to three million women in the coming year.

TechEquity encourages inclusion by providing content in 120 languages. This bilingual strategy assures that women from various linguistic origins, regardless of geographical location, can utilize the platform.
India's Commitment: Three Years Of Assistance
By funding TechEquity over the next three years, India demonstrates its commitment to women's emancipation. This financial support assures the platform's long-term viability and ongoing efforts to close the gender digital divide.
FICCI: Ensuring Smooth Operation
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is crucial to the preservation of TechEquity. FICCI, as the body in charge of its care, maintains smooth operations and improves the user experience.
EMPOWER: Promoting Economic Representation For Women
In 2019, the G20 Alliance for Empowerment and Progression of Women's Economic Representation (EMPOWER) was formed. The G20 coalition is dedicated to advancing and promoting women's economic representation and empowerment. This alliance operates under the Sherpa Track, bringing together government and commercial sector involvement with the primary goal of boosting women's leadership and empowerment throughout G20 nations.
