Description

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) issued the provisional state merit list for Assam medical and dentistry admission on July 4, 2023. This year, a total of 38,153 candidates were chosen from the provisional merit list. Candidates can download the Assam MBBS merit list PDF by visiting the official website. Candidates who have been selected from the Assam NEET merit list may change their category (if necessary) until July 7. 

Furthermore, candidates from Assam who appeared for NEET but whose names did not show on the merit list can apply for it until July 7. Eligible candidates can participate in Assam MBBS counselling sessions based on their NEET rank for admission to 1100 MBBS and 50 BDS seats under the 85% state quota.

Steps To Download Assam NEET Provisional Merit List

• Go to the official website.

• Then on the homepage, click on the documents section, and then click on the link: 'educational Notice-MBBS-BDS course'.

• Now on the new page, click on the provisional Assam state merit list of NEET UG 2023.

• Download the PDF and check ranks and roll number.

• Save it for later reference.

How To Apply For A Category Change Or To Have Your Name Included In The Assam NEET UG Merit List 2023? 

To be included in the Assam NEET 2023 merit list, candidates must submit an application on plain paper with valid documents to the DME office (2nd floor, Room No. 5) on or before July 7.  It is also mentioned that applications submitted by post or email will not be accepted. Candidates must obtain an acknowledgement receipt when submitting their forms.

The state counselling authority has stated, “Candidates whose name appeared in Provisional Merit List and want to change their category, can now apply in a prescribed format along with the supporting documents to the office of the undersigned (2nd floor, Room No. 5) on or before July 7, during office hours by hand.”
