The National Testing Agency (NTA) has updated the provisional answer key for the CUET UG 2023 exams. On June 29, 2023, the provisional answer key for CUET UG was released. Students who appeared in the exams between May 21 and June 23, 2023 can now check the revised provisional answer key on the official website. Students had until July 1, 2023, to register their objections.

Many students who appeared in the exams observed significant errors in the CUET UG answer key after the release of the tentative answer key along with the question paper and response sheets of the students.
According to sources, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has already altered the answer keys for the Business Studies, Accountancy, and Hindi exams. When speaking to the media about the faulty answer keys, NTA officials indicated that there were approximately 7.5 lakh answer keys, and given the time constraints and quantity, a few errors were possible. He did, however, remark that the eros had been corrected.
Given the large number of incorrect answers, students accused the testing agency of looting them by demanding a fee of Rupees 200 to raise objections to the provisional answer key.
Candidates have reported significant problems with the CUET UG 2023 answer key. The Hindi answer key, according to students, was the most problematic, with errors in even the most basic questions.
In response to the statement, the NTA said that candidates normally send objections to the NTA rather than submitting them online, and that in light of this, the answer keys have been replaced with the correct ones so that candidates do not lose money. NTA has also stated that they have replied to the emails sent to students advising them of the revised answer keys.
No Fee For Typing Errors In CUET UG Answer Key
According to recent reports, students are not required to pay any fees when filing objections to the CUET UG answer key for typing errors. Professor Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of the UGC, made the statement.
This year, around 16.85 lakh students registered for the CUET UG 2023 examinations, with 14 lakh of them appearing in the exams. CUET is administered for admission to undergraduate courses at central institutions and other universities and colleges that recognize CUET UG scores. According to the most recent information, the CUET UG results will be announced on July 15, 2023.
