This year marks the 100th anniversary of Delhi University, and as part of the celebrations, the valedictory event of the centenary celebrations was held. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attended the university's valedictory ceremony. On this trip, the Prime Minister also lay the foundation stone of three university buildings.
The foundation stone was placed for the Delhi University Computer Centre, the Faculty of Technology building, and the Academic Block on Delhi University's North Campus.
As part of the Centenary celebrations, an exhibition about the university's 100-year journey is being planned for the closing ceremony in the basement of the multipurpose hall.
