Description
Registration for the National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is in the middle. Interested candidates should apply online at scholarships.wbsed.gov.in. Every year, the Ministry of Education's Department of School Education and Literacy conducts the NMMS exam for class 8 students in order to provide scholarships to economically backward students.
Registration for the West Bengal NMMS Scholarship 2023 began on June 23, 2023, and will continue through July 25, 2023. Students should be aware that there is no facility for submitting a printed copy of the form to the Directorate of School Education, Bikash Bhavan, or any district's office of D.I/S(SE).

Eligibility For West Bengal NMMS Scholarship 2023 Registration
Students in class VIII who scored 55% or more in the class VII Final Exam are eligible to take the Centrally Sponsored NMMS Exam.
Scholarships are not available to students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, State Government-run residential schools, or any private school.
Students must be enrolled in authorized government schools, government-aided schools, local governments, or government-sponsored schools.
The parental income from all sources should be less than Rupees 3,50,000/- (Rupees three lakh fifty thousand) per year.
