Description

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has begun online registration for all JEE Advanced qualifying candidates. Candidates can sign up to take part in the counseling rounds on the official website. Furthermore, the authority has made special eligibility/restrictions for the NIT+ system available online. The JoSAA counselling procedure consists of six rounds: registration, choice filling, seat assignment, document verification, and seat acceptance. 

Candidates must also upload the relevant documents in the prescribed size and format while registering. The JoSAA 2023 counselling is based on the candidate's JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores, and seats are assigned depending on preferences and availability. Candidates who have qualified JEE Main are eligible for admission in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, while students who qualify for JEE Advanced are eligible for admission to IITs.

This time, 43,773 candidates out of a total of 1,80,372 passed the JEE Advanced exam and are now eligible for admission to various undergraduate programs at IITs across India. 7509 of the 43,773 qualifying candidates are girls.

• Passing certificate

• JEE Main rank card

• JEE Advanced rank card

• Caste certificate  (if required)

• Income certificate  (if required)

• Domicile certificate (if required)

• Government-issued photo ID cards, such as Aadhar card, PAN card, driver's license
