Description
The Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, will conclude registration for MTech programmes in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR & VR) on June 10, 2023. Interested candidates should apply online on the official website of the iHub Drishti Foundation.
IIT Jodhpur has launched this part-time programme in collaboration with the TIH iHub Drishti Foundation for the academic year 2023-24. This program is designed for working professionals with a BE/BTech/MCA/MSc degree in any discipline. This is the second batch or cohort of the program offered by IIT Jodhpur's School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
According to a press statement issued by IIT Jodhpur, this program allows working professionals to pursue an off-campus MTech in AR-VR Technologies, with no more than 15 days of on-campus immersion per semester. The curriculum has a minimum period of two academic years, during which a student must complete 60 credits.
Faculty from several IITs and industry specialists will lead the course content. Candidates will be selected based on factors deemed appropriate by the admission committee. Prior research exposure and/or industry experience in AR and VR-related fields will be deemed advantageous.
