The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will provide an 'out of the box thinking' Mathematics course on the level 3 and 4 levels. These courses are free of charge and are only available online through the IIT-M Pravartak Technologies Foundation. The deadline for registering for level 3 and level 4 is May 7, 2023, and candidates can do so via the official website.
The final test for these will be proctored and held at the examination centers. The training is available in both India and other nations. Pravartak will also award a graded certificate to candidates who gave the examination. When level 1 and level 2 courses were introduced last year, they drew a total of 1.42 lakh students.
Professor V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, said, “The Levels 1 and 2 of the ‘Out of the Box Thinking’ course, which is first-of-its-kind in India, were well-received by students across India. This course is being offered free of cost. This course will greatly benefit School and College students, especially those residing in rural India. Thinking differently is crucial for innovation leading to entrepreneurship. Training the young mind to think differently, will in the long run yield creative youth for our nation.”
The Government of India designated the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) as an Institute of National Importance in 1959. IIT Madras includes 16 academic departments and offers BTech, MBA, MTech, and PhD programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
