Description
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has established guidelines and do's and don'ts for the seat allocation process. Candidates who have qualified for the NIFT entrance exam 2023 can find relevant guidelines as well as a list of required documents below.
Shortlisted candidates are encouraged to maintain the required documents scanned and available before submitting them to the official website. An anti-ragging undertaking (Annexure-II), a fee refund undertaking (Annexure-IV), and a medical certificate (format included) are all required documents.
NIFT Admission 2023 Important Guidelines
Do’s
Candidates must select a maximum number of options when filling out campus/course selections during registration for seat allocation.
They must carefully consider available possibilities depending on their CMR when selecting a course and a campus.
They must be informed that only the Campus/Courses for which they have indicated a preference will be considered. Even if spaces are available on other Campuses, an applicant who has not selected that Campus/Course in the priority list will not be considered for admission there.
If eligible, check and fill out preferences for academic programs at your Domicile campus.
Fill out a preference form at NIFT Srinagar if you are eligible for the Kashmiri immigration quota.
Keep an eye out for announcements of NIFT seat allocation rounds.
Don'ts
Candidates should not fill in preferences for a campus or course that they are not interested in attending. Candidates should not lock their preferences until they are certain of their choices and the order of their preferences. However, don't forget to reserve your preferred option before the deadline. They will be automatically locked when the deadline arrives.
Candidates does not wait till the last day/time to fill up choices. There will be no more extensions.
Candidates should not withdraw from the admissions process unless they are completely certain. This selection is unchangeable.
If candidates are waiting for a campus/course with higher precedence in a subsequent round, they must not select the "freeze" option.
Candidates must not upload incorrect/incomplete/outdated papers. Non-verification of documents for any reason may result in your admission being denied.
