Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has introduced new bioinformatics and cyber security courses. The bioinformatics course at IP University is designed to help students learn data analysis, biological data management, and computer programming. Similarly, the cyber security course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and prevent cyber threats and attacks.

The university hopes that by offering these courses, students will be able to gain new skills. The move is intended to provide students with more exposure while also expanding the university's academic offerings, according to a statement issued by the Delhi government.

“We are committed to providing our students with the best quality education and exposure to the latest trends and practices in their respective fields. These new courses will help our students achieve their academic and professional goals,” Delhi Education Minister Atishi said on April 11.

These courses were launched a year after the university launched graduate and postgraduate design courses, as well as an MBA in analytics.
