At the 95th Academy Awards, RRR's song "Natu Natu" won an Oscar for Best Original Song. The song, composed by M.M. Keravani, with songs by Chandrabose and vocals by Rahul Sipligunj and Kala Bhairav, quickly became popular after its March 2022 release. It was also well received by foreign audiences.

Natu Natu won in the same category at the Golden Globes earlier this year. It also received Critics' Choice Awards and the Hollywood Critics Association's Best Song award. An Indian documentary, The Elephant Whisperer, won the award for best documentary short film.

PM Modi and other national dignitaries congratulated the respective teams on their two Oscar wins.
