The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued an online list of candidates who have been provisionally selected under the Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Single Girl Child Fellowship (SJSGC) scheme. Candidates who applied for the fellowship scheme can view and download the SJSGC award letter by logging in to the official website.
The UGC released an official notification on its official website on February 8, 2023, regarding the result of the SJSGC scheme. According to the official notification, these selected candidates are eligible to receive fellowship under the SJSGC scheme, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the scheme's guidelines.

Steps To Check Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Single Child Fellowship Result
Visit the official website.
Now click on the 'Fellowship and Research Grant Schemes 2022' link.
The Fellowship and Research Grant page will be displayed on the screen.
Now click on the 'Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship for Single Child' link.
Then click on the Download Award letter.
Login using your registration ID and password.
The SJSGC result 2023 will show on the screen.
Download the SJSGC result 2023 and take a printout for later reference.
UGC's Notice On The Result Of The SJSGC Scheme
As per the official notification, UGC informed that the selection of the candidates has been made based on the information received by the students while applying for the fellowship scheme.
However, their selection is provisional, and the institution must ensure the candidate's eligibility for the scheme when processing the claim for the fellowship scheme, according to the UGC's official notice.
The SJSGC Fellowship will be payable beginning April 1, 2023, of the chosen year, or the actual date of joining under this fellowship scheme at the respective university or college.
However, in order to be eligible for the Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Single Girl Child Fellowship (SJSGC), candidates must complete the Joining Cum Verification Report as outlined in Annexure-1. According to the UGC notice, it must be submitted to the relevant officials at their institutions.
