Why Non-Teaching Staff Is Protesting?
Non-teaching staff at non-agricultural universities and colleges have begun a statewide protest in response to their outstanding demands. They are, however, protesting over issues such as unpaid salary arrears, the implementation of the old pension scheme, and the filling of vacant posts.
According to reports, the Mumbai Vidyapeeth Karmachari Sangh (MVKS), an organisation of non-teaching staff, has stated that if their demands are not met, the agitation will continue.
