Delhi University has introduced a Financial Support Scheme for financially weak students. The students who want to avail of this scheme can download the application form and notification from the twitter link given below. The deadline to apply for this scheme is December 12, 2022.

The initiative is expressed by a fee waiver for students from low-income backgrounds in keeping with the government's motto, "Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas." According to the announcement made by the varsity via its official Twitter handle, the fee waiver covers all components of the fee paid by students, with the exception of the examination fee and hostel fee.

Candidates who are studying in DU in its department or institutions belonging to two categories- Category 1 has a family income of less than 4 lakh, while Category 2 has a family income between 4 lakh and 8 lakh. The university will waive all fees for the first category, and up to 50% of the second category's fees.

• Annual family income certificate

• Copies of ITR of parents

• Copies of the marksheet of the last exam passed

• Copy of bonafide student in Degree/ Postgraduate degree course

• Fee receipt mentioning the amount under different heads separately

• Bank passbook
