The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will launch the ‘Budding Authors Programme’ on August 23. This programme seeks to provide learners with a platform to explore their creativity. Students will read and compose short stories, with the opportunity to be published. On August 23 at 3:00 pm, the launch will be livestreamed on the CBSE Academics And Training YouTube channel.
According to an official statement, the CBSE Budding Authors Programme is a collaboration between the Central Square Foundation and Pratham Books' Story Weaver. The curriculum is an extension of the CBSE Reading Mission and attempts to transform students from the love of reading to the development of creative writing skills.
The goal of the CBSE Reading Mission, which was first introduced in September of last year, is to improve students' reading skills. For students in Classes 1 to 8, this programme provides English and Hindi literature to CBSE-affiliated schools.
