Description
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 session 2 result on August 6 on the official website.
NTA, for the first time, has set up nine criteria to determine the JEE Main rank in case of a tie in the JEE Main score of the students. In JEE Main score 2022, only single student will be placed first in All India Rank (AIR).
If two students have same overall NTA scores, the score for mathematics will be taken into account while determining the All India Rank. If a tie still exist, the rank will be decided by taking into account the ratio of correct to incorrect answers, with Physics receiving a higher score than Chemistry. The subject-wise number of correct and incorrect answer ratio for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry will be taken into account by the NTA.
If the tie doesn't solve, the student whose age is more will be given preference in the AIR. if again tie situation exists, the priority will be given to the ascending order of application number.
