Aditya Birla Capital has named Vishakha Mulye as its new Chief Executive Officer. According to the company's stock filing, the board of directors authorised the appointment based on the Nomination, Remuneration, and Compensation Committee's recommendations. According to the exchange filing, she takes the place of Ajay Srinivasan, who is taking on new responsibilities inside the company.

Mulye, who is now the Executive Director of ICICI Bank, will join Aditya Birla Capital on June 1, 2022, and will serve as CEO for a month alongside Srinivasan to facilitate a smooth leadership transition. Following this period, she will resume her duties as CEO of Aditya Birla Capital Limited.

Vishakha Mulye's bio

She will be the first woman to join the Aditya Birla Management Corporation board of directors, the conglomerate's primary decision-making body. She holds the designation of Chartered Accountant. She is responsible for local and international wholesale banking, proprietary trading, markets, and transaction banking at ICICI Bank.
