The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will hold a special stray vacancy round for the 2021 National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) counselling. The NEET-UG special stray vacancy round 2021 will be held online to fill 323 MBBS vacant seats so that the All India Quota/ Central Institute/ Central University/ AIIMS/ JIPMER seats do not go to waste, according to a statement from the MCC. Candidates can find information about the NEET-UG open seats on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
There will be no new registrations for the NEET UG counselling 2021 special stray vacancy round, according to the MCC. Candidates who have pre-registered and do not hold any seats are eligible to participate in this round. Candidates will, however, have to make a new selection for the special stray vacancy round.
For participation in the special stray vacancy round, all registered candidates, regardless of category, must pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000. Candidates' refundable security deposits will be forfeited if they do not accept the seats allotted to them in the special stray vacancy round.
"Candidates who do not hold a seat in the All India Quota or a seat in a state quota are eligible to participate in the special stray vacancy round," the MCC stated.
