Description

Students are now awaiting the release of answer keys following the completion of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). The National Testing Agency (NTA), which administers the admission test, has yet to announce a date for the release of the CMAT 2022 answer key. NTA will first release a provisional CMAT 2022 answer key, then offer the option to challenge the answer key before releasing the final answer key. Following that, the CMAT results will be made public. CMAT 2022 took place on April 9.

CMAT was a 400-Mark exam. The CMAT 2022 question paper had 100 questions, with 20 questions each from Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Marking Scheme for CMAT 2022

1. Each question was worth four points.

2. The candidate will receive four points for each correct response.

3. One mark will be deducted from the total score for each incorrect response.

4. Questions that go unanswered or unattempted will receive no credit.

5. To give an answer to a question, the candidate must select one of the correct options.

However, following the CMAT answer key challenge process, if there are multiple correct options or a change in key, only those candidates who attempted it correctly according to the revised answer key will be awarded marks. And, if a question is dropped after a challenge due to a technical error, all candidates will receive full marks.

The NTA will use the normalisation process because the exam was held in shifts. NTA will use percentile equivalence to normalise across sections.

To avoid bunching and reduce ties, the Percentile Scores will be calculated to 7 decimal places.
