On Saturday, April 9, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM Kozhikode) will have its 24th annual convocation, with Arif Mohammed Khan, the Hon'ble Governor of Kerala, serving as the chief guest. A Vellayan, Chairperson of the IIMK Board of Governors (BoG), Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director, Members of the Board of Governors, and other dignitaries will attend the convocation event.

"His august presence reaffirms the commitment of the State and Central Government to continue its great support to the Institutions of excellence," said IIM Kozhikode Director Professor Debashis Chatterjee. IIMK's journey over the last 25 years has been long and intertwined with the development of this historic city of Kozhikode. Synergistic efforts have been pooled to focus on nurturing this Institute to the status of one of the most preferred institutes in the country and abroad."

The convocation ceremony will award degrees to students from the Doctoral Program in Management (PhD), the flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), the one-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Business Leadership (PGP-BL), and the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (Kozhikode and Kochi Campus). "In honour of their achievements, the best performers in each programme will be awarded gold medals," according to an IIM Kozhikode press statement.

The IIM Kozhikode is currently celebrating its silver jubilee. According to the Ministry of Education's NIRF 2021: Management Rankings, the institute is now one of the top four business schools in the country.
