Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated 13 new districts in the state through video conference on Monday, April 4 in Tadepalli, Guntur district. As a result, there will be a total of 26 districts in the state. Parliamentary constituencies were used as a basis for the new districts. After the installation of 13 new sections, Andhra Pradesh now has 26 sections. Andhra Pradesh's 26 districts will now be divided into 23 revenue divisions.
According to the CM, people have accepted and loved the decentralised government system since initiatives are given to their doorstep, and the same is being extended to the districts. Previously, one district served 38 lakh 15 thousand people, but now that 26 communities have been developed, each part will serve 19 lakh 7 thousand people, according to the CM.
