Description

The Central Board of Secondary Education, or CBSE, has extended the deadline for registering for the Dispute Redressal Mechanism for the term 1 examination till Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Schools can apply for the Dispute Resolution Mechanism for both Classes 10 and 12 by the deadline. Schools can obtain the official notice and other details by visiting the CBSE website at cbse.nic.in.

Previously, the deadline to apply for the CBSE Class 10 Dispute Redressal Mechanism was March 26, 2022, and the deadline for CBSE Class 12 was March 31, 2022. However, some schools missed out on the opportunity to register for term 1 examination disputes and urged the board to extend the dates.

Registration of the CBSE Dispute Redressal Mechanism: Important Information

  • If a student wanted to raise a complaint about his or her performance in term 1, he or she must do so in writing to their respective school.
  • The school will look into the request. If the dispute cannot be resolved at the school level, the outcome will be communicated to the student in writing by the school.
  • If the CBSE is required to settle the dispute, a report aggregating all of the complaints received by the schools may be sent in one go to the school request submission for resolution on the link provided on the official notice.
  • If any school fails to upload their request, the whole information of the dispute must be uploaded to the above link.
  • Schools that have contacted CBSE via email or by visiting the headquarters or regional office should also upload their grievance on the web by the deadline.
  • The Central Board of Secondary Education would not consider any request filed by schools, or any email id, or any other platform.
