As a special one-time measure, Delhi University students who are retaking exams in the physical mode after nearly two years will be given an extra 30 minutes and more options on the question paper. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, DU began holding online open book exams for students.
Students from the first, third, and fifth semesters recently took online open book exams. Exams in the physical modality are expected to be held in May and June for students in the second, fourth, and sixth semesters.
The institution said on Friday that each exam will be extended by 30 minutes as a special one-time measure.
"Wherever applicable," it read, "Faculty/Department will be requested to provide extra choices in the Question Paper."
"Students who have completed the Examination Form but have been unable to present for it owing to reasonable reasons may be offered a second chance. Phase-II of the aforementioned examination would be held for the residual (remaining) pupils for this purpose "It was also added.
