On Saturday, All India Radio (AIR) launched a weekly interactive programme for job seekers and students studying for various competitive examinations. The first episode of the 30-minute show, 'Abhyaas,' will AIR on 100.1FM GOLD on Saturday at 9.30 p.m., according to a statement from the AIR's News Services Division.
According to the statement, the programme was started with the goal of reaching out to students and job seekers preparing for various competitive examinations.
The programme is also available "on Twitter at @airnewsalerts, on the airnewsofficial YouTube Channel, and on the NewsonAir App" for listeners.
The programme will be broadcast every Saturday from 9:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Hindi, according to the public broadcaster.
"A notable academician will respond to the listeners' queries," the AIR said, adding that "the weekly interactive programme will comprise segments like Explainers, Factfile, Examination Calender, and Question of the Week with a musical break." "Students can email their queries on WhatsApp number 928 909 4044 or write to abhyaas.air@gmail.com until April 5 for the next episode on April 9," it read.
Indian Polity and Constitution has been picked as the subject for the coming week, according to the statement.
