Description

The application window for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras' BSc Data Science programme has opened. For the May 2022 term, students in grades 11 and 12, college students, and working professionals can apply to the IIT Madras programme.

Candidates who are presently on a career break are also eligible to apply. Applicants who qualify for the JEE Advanced 2021 exam will be able to enrol in the BSc Data Science programme in May 2022.

"In an effort to relieve student stress by allowing them to obtain admission to IIT Madras while still in school, IIT Madras now allows students as young as Class 11 to apply for the qualifying procedure." Students who complete Class 11 by May 2022 or who are currently in Class 12 can apply for the May 2022 Term qualifier procedure, and if they qualify, they will be able to begin coursework after completing Class 12, according to IIT Madras.

There is no limit to the number of seats available, so anyone who qualifies can apply. The deadline to apply for this Data Science Program's May Term is April 25, 2022.

Scholarships are also available to students who qualify. Fee waivers of up to 75% are available at IIT Madras based on annual family income, with additional scholarships available through CSR partners.

Four weeks of training, including video lectures, weekly assignments, a discussion forum, and live interactions with professors and course instructors, are included in the application process.
