Description
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will present matric, or Class 10, toppers with appreciation gifts. Candidates who achieve the highest scores in the Matriculation examination will receive laptop computers, cash prizes, and Kindle e-book readers from the BSEB. The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, a laptop, and a Kindle e-book reader. The second-place finisher will receive Rs 50,000, a laptop, and a Kindle e-book reader, while the third-place finisher will receive a laptop and a Kindle e-book reader in addition to Rs 50,000.
In addition, the students who placed fourth and fifth in the BSEB Class 10 exam will each receive Rs 15,000 and one laptop.
On Thursday, March 31, the BSEB matric, or Class 10 result, will be released. This year, a total of 12.86 lakh (12,86,971) students passed the matriculation exam. 4.24 lakh (4,24,597) students received first division, 5.10 lakh (5,10,441) received second division, and 3.47 lakh received third division (3,47,637). More than 6.78 lakh (6,78,110) boys passed the matric exam than 6.08 lakh (6,08,861) girls.
