Parents dropping their children off at school buses with mixed emotions, ensuring that they were carrying sanitizer bottles, and well-decorated classrooms were the scenes in Delhi-NCR when institutions began offline classes after a two-year break on Friday. Students were looking forward to this day, according to Sudha Acharya, chairperson of the National Progressive Schools' Conference (NPSC), which has over 120 private schools as members.
"Schools are reopening after two years, and students are excited to return back to school," she remarked. Ms. Acharya is the principal of Dwarka's ITL Public School. Teachers held a special prayer gathering for pupils at her school.
"Teachers had organised special performances for pupils, and today's event is akin to a carnival. We had a farewell for Class 12 students yesterday, and they were overjoyed. We'll watch the prime minister's Pariksha Pe Charcha at 11 a.m "she stated
Rashmi Dixit, a parent of a Shri Ram Global School Class 5 student in Noida Extension, stated, "My son formerly attended Nagpur school, and today is his first day at his new school. For the previous year, he had been taking this school's online programmes. He'll be meeting up with his pals. Students had grown accustomed to the idea of online lessons, but this will be a positive change for them because they will be reintroduced to a regular schedule." The first day was a little stressful, according to Ms Dixit, especially for the parents, because several school buses were running late and they received multiple notifications regarding the delay.
