The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened the online application window for the January 2022 batch of the BEd admission test. Candidates can apply for the BEd entrance exam online until April 17 at sedservices.ignou.ac.in/entrancebed/.

On May 8, the IGNOU BEd admission exam will be held across the country.

Applicants who have received at least 50% in their undergraduate and/or postgraduate studies in Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce, or Humanities will be eligible to enrol for the IGNOU BEd admission exam. Applicants having a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with a focus on science and mathematics and a grade point average of 55 percent or higher will be considered for the programme.

Steps to Apply for the IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam

1. Go to sedservices.ignou.ac.in/entrancebed/ for the first step.

2. Select "Register Yourself" from the drop-down menu.                   

3. Fill in your name, date of birth, gender, email, phone number, user name, and password in the following box.

4. Click the submit button.

5. Re-enter your user name and password.

6. Fill in the blanks with the relevant information.

7. Upload your photo and signature in the appropriate formats.

8. Make a payment for the application cost.

9. Confirm and submit your application.
