Rajasthan Day 2022 marks the 73rd anniversary of the state's creation. Rajasthan is India's largest state by area, and it is located in the country's northwest. Rajasthan accounts for 4% of the country's total land area. This state has a diverse cultural population. This state's capital is Jaipur. Rajasthan is the seventh-most populous state in India. Rajasthan is well-known for its Thar Desert, often known as the Great Indian Desert. Its capital city is Jaipur, while its other significant cities include Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Kota, and Ajmer. Ranthambore National Park (Sawai Madhopur), Sariska Tiger Reserve (Alwar), and Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve are the state's three national tiger reserves (Kota).

Rajasthan's Border States

Rajasthan is bordered by five Indian states. Haryana and Uttar Pradesh are in the northeast, Punjab is in the north, Madhya Pradesh is in the southeast, and Gujarat is in the southwest. The state is also bordered by the Pakistani provinces of Punjab and Sindh.
