Description
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will launch a new undergraduate programme in Mathematics and Computing (BTech). Admission to the four-year BTech programme will be based on the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. The BTech programme will begin in August of this year.
The new "The undergraduate programme in Mathematics and Computing aims to enter a niche market by producing future leaders who will be at the forefront of research, development, and innovation in futuristic disciplines and next-generation technologies that require a deep understanding of mathematics, computer science, and data science. In order to achieve this goal, the programme makes use of the institute's unparalleled expertise "The IISc release was mentioned.
The new four-semester undergraduate (UG) programme will contain six courses in mathematics and computing, as well as courses in science, humanities, and other engineering areas. According to the IISc announcement, students can get an M.Tech degree by taking an additional year of course and project credits.
The BTech programme has a total intake capacity of 52 students, with 20% reserved for female students and 10% reserved for foreign nationals/NRI/OCI.
Education Qualifications
Students must have completed class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with the following subjects: physics, chemistry, mathematics, a language, and any other subject not listed above.

JoSAA will provide BTech programme counselling, or it will be done through the IISc admissions portal.
