Description

Highlights

Every year, the Union Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Global Climate Change declares October 5th as National Dolphin Day. It was classified as a significant step in raising awareness for dolphin conservation beginning in 2022. This information was provided by Union Minister for Environment, Forests, and Global Climate Change, Bhupendra Yadav, on March 25, 2022, during the 67th meeting of the National Board for Wild Life commission in New Delhi.

Dolphins are excellent eco-indicators of a healthy aquatic habitat. As a result, dolphin conservation will assist both the species' existence and the humans who rely on the aquatic system for a living.
