The Reserve Bank of India has nominated Pralay Mondal as temporary Managing Director and CEO of CSB Bank. He presently serves as the Managing Director of CSB Bank.

The post of MD and CEO of CSB Bank was left vacant after full-time MD and CEO C V R Rajendran announced his early retirement owing to health considerations (w.e.f March 31, 2022). Pralay's employment has been allowed by the RBI for three months, commencing April 1, or until a permanent Managing Director and CEO of CSB Bank is appointed, whichever comes first.
