The online application window for the BEd entrance exam at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is now open. Candidates can apply for the BEd entrance exam online before April 17 at sedservices.ignou.ac.in/entrancebed/. The BEd admission exam will be held at a number of test centres across the country.

IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam — Application Procedures

Step 1: Go to sedservices.ignou.ac.in/entrybed/.

Step 2: Select the "Register Yourself" option.

Step 3: In the following window, enter your name, date of birth, gender, email address, mobile phone number, user name, and password.

Step 4: Click the submit button.

Step 5: Re-enter your user name and password.

Step 6: Fill in the blanks with the necessary information.

Step 7: Upload your photo and signature in the appropriate formats.

Step 8: Make payment for the application cost.

Step 9: Confirm and submit your work.

"The Bachelor of Education (BEd) programme was designed with the goal of developing student teachers' understanding of the teaching-learning process at the upper primary/secondary and senior secondary levels." "It focuses on enabling student-teachers to critically reflect on educational views and integrate theory and practises holistically to facilitate active engagement of learners for knowledge creation," according to a statement on the official website.

The BEd programme will last a minimum of two years and will be taught in both English and Hindi.

IGNOU has also provided the applicants with a help desk for resolving queries related to online application and form submission. Students can contact the School of Education at soe@ignou.ac.in and 011-29572945 between 10 am and 5 pm (Monday to Friday).
