In late April or early May of 2022, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin term 2 board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 students. On April 26, the CBSE term 2 board test will begin. The CBSE board exam for Class 10 will be held from April 26 to May 24. The second term of CBSE board exams for Class 12 will begin on April 26 and end on June 15.

CBSE term 2 board exams for classes 10 and 12 will cover half of the reduced syllabus. The questions in the papers will be both objective and subjective. While the term 1 CBSE exam question papers included multiple-choice questions (MCQ) such as case-based MCQs and assertion-reasoning type MCQs, the CBSE Term 2 Board exam papers will be a mixed bag of case-based, open-ended, situation-based, short answer and long answer type questions with a time limit of two hours. It is believed that the board will favour term 2 in terms of weightage.
