The JEE Advanced results are used by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admission to various undergraduate (UG) engineering programmes at the IITs. Through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority, each IIT conducts its own distinct counselling process (JoSAA). Six rounds of counselling were done last year, and the ranks at which the IITs closed admission to Mechanical Engineering are listed below. Only open, gender-neutral seats are included in the rankings. The cut-off ranks for reserved seats, seats for women, and seats for candidates with disabilities varies.

In the sixth round of JoSAA counselling 2021, here are the closing ranks for unreserved categories.
