Nagaland has made history by being the country's first State Assembly to deploy the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) initiative to go paperless. During the budget session, the Nagaland Assembly Secretariat has placed a tablet or e-book on each table of the 60-member assembly.

NeVA

NeVA is a workflow system installed on NIC Cloud, MeghRaj that assists the Chair of the House in smoothly conducting the House's proceedings and conducting Legislative Business of the House in a Paperless way.

NeVA is a device-neutral and member-centric application designed to equip them to handle diverse House Business intelligently by putting complete information regarding member contact details, rules of procedure, list of business, and so on their handheld devices/tablets and equipping all Legislatures/Departments to handle it efficiently.
