The Uttar Pradesh Board Exams, which began on Thursday, will see over 9,000 students take their chances in Moradabad. CCTV cameras are being used to monitor exam centres in order to prevent cheating. The security around exam centres has been increased, and zonal magistrates have been assigned to prevent copying and other malpractice in the centres.
"We have 125 exam centres, nearly 4,830 cameras, and 272 DVRs. We put it all together using software. All schools are being monitored on a continuous basis "Chief Monitoring Officer Ravindra Kumar Chauhan said . A control room has been established to keep a watch on the exam centres. The district administration can provide information on any complaint to the control room number at '9453991942.'
The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift will run from 8 a.m. to 11.15 a.m., while the evening shift will run from 2 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. The exams will be held till April 12.
