Description
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for children of deceased COVID-19 soldiers to apply for five MBBS seats in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2021 counselling. The application procedure will now end on March 28; hopefuls can apply at official website, mcc.nic.in.
The application was originally set to close on March 17. "The last deadline for accepting applications from wards of 'Covid Warriors (Deceased)' routed through the relevant Directorate of Medical Education (DME)/ Directorate Health Services (DHS) of their domicile states was specified in a previous notice dated 22.02.2022, which was 17.03.2022. In this regard, it is announced that the deadline for accepting duly completed applications through DMEs/ DHSs has been extended till 5 p.m. on March 28, 2022 (Monday) "The MCC notification was mentioned.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has already decided to allocate 5 MBBS seats to the wards of deceased COVID19 soldiers. "It is for the information of all candidates who have appeared and qualified for the NEET examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has decided to allot 5(five) MBBS Seats to Wards of COVID Warriors (Deceased)," according to the MCC notification.
Candidates must submit their applications through their respective states' DME/DHSs. Candidates from Delhi should send their applications to "Dr Poonam Panwar, CMO (NFSG), Nodal Officer (NEET Covid Warrior), Email Id: hospitalcoordinationcell1@gmail.com."
