Hyderabad FC won their first Indian Super League title after defeating Kerala Blasters in a penalty shoot-out in the final. The goalie, Laxmikant Kattimani, made three spectacular saves. After a 1-1 deadlock in regulation and extra time, Hyderabad won the shootout 3-1.

For Hyderabad, Joao Victor, Khassa Camara, and Halicharan Narzary scored, but only Ayush Adhikari scored in the shootout, and Kerala was ousted from the finals for the third time.
